Advanced
The Advanced settings section and Reinstall store assets, Tuneboom's self-service repair for storefront and fulfillment problems.
The Advanced section of Settings→Advanced holds one tool: Reinstall store assets. It's the self-service repair button for a storefront that has drifted out of sync with Tuneboom.
What "Reinstall store assets" does
Pressing Reinstall republishes everything Tuneboom installs into your Shopify store: the player snippets and theme assets, and the app's connection to your store's fulfillment system. As the section itself says: it won't touch your music. Your catalog, orders, licenses, presets, and settings are all untouched; only the installed pieces are refreshed.
It is safe to run repeatedly. Republishing over healthy assets changes nothing and ends in the same state.
When to reach for it
- Tracks not displaying, or the theme looking broken. The player looks wrong or doesn't appear at all after a theme change, theme update, or switching your published theme. (If the player never worked, start with Player not showing; a vintage theme or a missing app block is more likely.)
- Paid orders stuck in Unfulfilled. When orders sit unfulfilled with no hold banner and no missing-audio flag, the app's fulfillment connection to your store is the usual suspect, and reinstalling assets is the recovery path. Full diagnosis: Order stuck in Unfulfilled.
- After restoring or duplicating a theme. A restored backup contains whatever Tuneboom assets existed at backup time; a reinstall brings them current.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't add the player block to your theme. That's a theme-editor action, covered in Install the player block.
- It doesn't turn the Tuneboom app embed (sticky bar and consent modal) on or off. That lives in the theme editor's App embeds panel, covered in Sticky player bar.
- It doesn't retry a specific order. It repairs the installed pieces; held orders then resume on their own. If a single order still won't move, open it and check its timeline: Managing orders.
