Privacy Policy

Tuneboom is a Shopify app used by merchants to sell music (tracks, albums, sound kits) and their licenses through their own Shopify store. This policy covers two groups: the merchant who installs and operates the app, and the merchant's customers, whose order information passes through Tuneboom so we can deliver purchased files and licenses.

For a merchant's customers, the merchant is the data controller and Tuneboom acts as a processor on the merchant's behalf. If you are a customer, contact the store you purchased from for requests about your data; we will support the merchant in fulfilling them.

We collect only what the app needs to function:

• Shopify account & store data. When you install the app we receive, via Shopify OAuth, your store domain, basic shop details, plan, and an access token scoped to the permissions you grant. We use this to read and write the products, publications, orders, and fulfillment data the app manages.
• Catalog content you create. Tracks, albums, sound kits, artwork, audio files, license terms, pricing, metadata, and related settings you upload or configure in the app.
• Order & customer data. When a customer buys a Tuneboom product, we receive the order through Shopify webhooks — including line items, the purchased licenses, order status, and the customer email — so we can deliver the files, issue the correct license, and email the download.
• Technical & usage data. Logs, error reports, and diagnostic events (for example request metadata, IP address, and timestamps) generated as you use the app, used to operate, secure, and debug the service.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are processed entirely by Shopify Checkout; Tuneboom never sees card numbers.

• Provide the core service: sync products to Shopify, publish releases, and manage licenses and pricing.
• Fulfill orders: deliver purchased audio files and license documents, and send delivery emails.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app, and diagnose and fix problems.
• Communicate with you about the service, including support and important notices.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share information only with service providers who help us run Tuneboom, and only as needed:

• Shopify — the platform Tuneboom is built on; product, order, and fulfillment data flows between Tuneboom and your Shopify store.
• Cloud infrastructure & storage — hosting and object storage providers where audio files, artwork, and application data are stored.
• Email delivery — to send order delivery and transactional emails.
• Monitoring & error tracking — to capture logs and error reports so we can keep the service reliable.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify affected users.

We keep information for as long as your app is installed and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When you uninstall the app we stop syncing and begin winding down associated data; some records may be retained where required by law.

Tuneboom honors Shopify's mandatory data-protection webhooks. When a merchant or a merchant's customer submits a request through Shopify, we respond to:

• Customer data request — we provide the customer data we hold to the merchant to relay to the customer.
• Customer redaction — we delete or anonymize a customer's personal data on request.
• Shop redaction — after a store uninstalls Tuneboom, we delete the store's data on Shopify's redaction signal.

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Merchants can exercise these directly; customers should contact the store they purchased from. You can also reach us using the contact details below.

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, scoped access tokens, and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

Tuneboom operates using cloud infrastructure that may process and store data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Tuneboom is a business tool intended for merchants and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Tuneboom after an update means you accept the revised policy.
