Sound kits

Sell drum kits, loops, one-shots, MIDI and preset packs, from building a kit and adding previews to how kits appear on your storefront.

Basic plan and up

A sound kit is a pack of sounds sold as a single digital download. The buyer gets one archive, and your product page lets them audition a demo and individual sounds before buying. Kits live under CatalogSound kits.

The sound kit list uses the same tabs as tracks: Published, Scheduled, Drafts, Archived.

Kits share the track list's mechanics: Published / Scheduled / Drafts / Archived tabs, search, list/grid views, and a row menu with Edit, Share and Delete.

How to create a sound kit

Start a new kit

Click Add → Sound kit from any Catalog tab. The editor is the familiar wizard with kit-specific sections. Nothing saves until you publish or press Save.

Fill in Kit info

Add a Title and square artwork, and pick the Kit typeDrums, Loops, One-shots, MIDI, Presets or Mixed. A Release date and Description are optional.

Add your files

Open Kit files:

  • Kit archive (required): the full kit buyers download after purchase — .zip or .rar.
  • Demo audio (optional): a compilation buyers can stream on your storefront — .mp3 or .wav.
  • Sound previews (optional): short clips of individual sounds, added one at a time with Add preview, listed on your product page so buyers can audition the kit.

Set your price

Open Pricing and set one Price for the whole kit. Kits sell as a single download, with no license tiers.

Primary and Secondary genre, BPM and tags power search and filtering, same as tracks.

Publish

With the required sections complete, click Publish (or Schedule, for a future release date) to create the Shopify product.

Publishing

With the required sections complete, Publish (or Schedule, for a future release date) creates the Shopify product. Unpublish, Archive and View in shop work exactly as they do for tracks.

How kits render on your storefront

You don't place anything extra in your theme for kits. The same Tuneboom player block you added during setup detects a sound-kit product automatically and switches to its kit layout:

  • kit artwork and title,
  • the streamable Demo audio,
  • your Sound previews, listed individually and de-duplicated,
  • price and an add-to-cart button wired into your store's cart.

Kit mode takes priority over the block's track and album modes on that product page, and it uses one fixed layout; player presets don't restyle the kit view.

Plan notes

Sound kits are available from the Basic plan up, with a per-plan kit limit. Creating a kit past the limit shows an upgrade prompt. See Plans.
