Tracklists
Curate tracks into sellable collections. Publishing a Tracklist creates a Shopify collection buyers can browse and buy from.
A Tracklist groups tracks you already sell into a collection customers can browse. Think "Dark trap vol. 2" or "Free downloads". Publishing one creates a matching Shopify collection on your storefront, so each track in it stays its own product with its own pricing and licenses. Tracklists live under Catalog→Tracklists.
The tabs
- My Releases: published Tracklists, live as collections in your store.
- Drafts: Tracklists you are still working on.
Rows show the track count, last-updated date, plus a Private flag and a Synced flag once the Shopify collection exists.
How to create a Tracklist
A Tracklist is built from tracks you already sell, so make sure they exist under Tracks first.
Start a new Tracklist
Add → Tracklist from any Catalog tab creates an empty draft and opens the editor. (Shortcut: from the track list, a row's Add to tracklist action drops that track into an existing Tracklist without opening the editor.)
Fill in Tracklist info
Add a Title (required, up to 60 characters), an optional Description shown on the collection page (up to 120 characters), and artwork. The Private toggle on the overview hides the Tracklist from storefront browsing.
Add tracks
Click Add tracks and pick from your existing tracks — a tracklist needs at least one. Drag rows to reorder; remove one with the ✕ on its row (the track itself is untouched).
Publish
Publish from the editor (Publish, or Save & publish with unsaved edits) or straight from the list row's ⋮ menu. Publishing creates a matching Shopify collection buyers can browse and buy from; Share then copies the collection URL.
Publishing
Publish from the editor (Publish, or Save & publish with unsaved edits) or directly from the list row's ⋮ menu. The list's Publish action stays disabled until the Tracklist has at least one track.
Once live, the status card reads Live in your store with "Customers can find and buy from this tracklist", and Share copies the collection URL (https://your-store/collections/…).
The row menu also offers:
- Edit: open the editor.
- Unpublish: "This removes the Tracklist from your online store. It moves back to drafts so you can publish it again later." (shown with the Tracklist's name; asks for confirmation).
- Delete: permanent, after confirmation.
Plan notes
Tracklists are available from the Basic plan up, with a per-plan limit. The usage meter in Settings→Plan shows where you stand, and creating one past the limit shows an upgrade prompt. On a plan without Tracklists, the page itself shows the upgrade prompt when you open it. See Plans.
