Auto-tagging

Voice-tagged previews rendered automatically, with shop-level voice tag settings, per-track overrides, and every tagging state explained.

Pro plan

Auto-tagging protects your previews: Tuneboom renders your voice tag into the streamable preview of every beat and vocal, while the untagged master stays clean for buyers who purchase. Upload your tag once. Every preview is rendered with it, so there is no second upload per track.

The auto-tag row in the track editor's Audio files section, mid-render.

Auto-tagging applies to beats and vocals. Songs are never tagged. It only runs when the track's Allow preview toggle is on, and it steps aside entirely if you upload your own Tagged preview: "Your uploaded preview is what buyers hear, so this track is left un-tagged."

Shop-level settings

Set your tag and defaults once under SettingsVoice tag:

Your tag plus four rendering controls. Audition plays the tag file so you can check it before it lands on every preview.
  • Your tag: "A one to three second drop. Accepts .mp3 or .wav." Browse picks it from your Media library (or Change to swap it); Audition plays it back.
  • Preview length: Full track, 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds. "Applies to every beat unless the track overrides it."
  • Tag every: 10 to 30 seconds between tag drops. "20 seconds plays the tag three times a minute."
  • Loudness: Light, Medium or Heavy: "How far the tag sits above the beat."
  • Tag character: Normal ("The voice as recorded") or Deep ("Pitched down ~3 semitones"). Character is applied at render, so it works for a recorded tag too, and changing it never costs a re-generation.

Press Save. Out of the box the defaults are full-track previews, a tag every 20 seconds, medium loudness, normal character.

Per-track overrides

Each beat or vocal can depart from the shop defaults in the track editor's Audio files section:

  • Auto-tag this track: the per-track switch. Off, the preview renders un-tagged and the status shows paused.
  • The voice tag row shows which tag renders: "Your shop voice tag · Inherited from Settings" or a picked alternate file marked "This track only".
  • Preview length, Tag every, Loudness and Tag character: each field is empty by default and shows the inherited value as its placeholder; leave it empty to follow Settings, or pick a value to pin it for this track.
  • Uploading a file in the Tagged preview slot ("Upload your own tagged preview · replaces the automatic tag below for this track") skips the automatic render completely.

Tagging states

Tuneboom renders previews in the background, and a render takes tens of seconds. The track editor shows exactly where a preview stands, and the track list mirrors the two states worth batch-watching as Tagging and Tagging failed flags (the list refreshes itself while anything on the page is rendering).

StateMeaningWhat to do
TaggedThe tagged preview rendered and is what buyers hear.Nothing.
Processing upload… / Waiting to tag…The upload is being processed, or the render is queued.Wait. These clear on their own.
Tagging this preview…The render is running now.Wait; the page checks and updates itself.
Tagging failedThe render errored.Press Retry next to the status.

Tagging paused"Your plan no longer includes auto-tagging." You downgraded below Pro.Buyers hear the plain auto-generated preview. Upgrade to resume tagging, or upload your own Tagged preview.
A failed render is never silent; Retry re-queues it.

What buyers get vs. what they hear

The tag only ever touches the preview. Purchases always deliver the untagged files you uploaded: the master, and stems if attached. If a preview is mid-render or failed, buyers hear the plain auto-generated preview in the meantime (when Allow preview is on), so your product page never goes silent.
