Missing audio on a purchased track
A sale went through for a track that has no audio file, so delivery is held until you upload it.
Symptom: an order shows a critical Missing audio badge in the order list, and you've received an alert email with a subject like "Action needed: Shopify order #1234 is on hold (missing audio)", naming the track.
Cause
A customer bought a track whose main audio file isn't deliverable. Either the track was published without its audio finishing upload, or the file was later removed or replaced badly. Tuneboom checks every purchased track for deliverable audio before creating any download links; when the check fails, it holds the order (nothing is sent, nothing is marked fulfilled) and emails you once with the order number and the track title.
The customer's money is captured. The hold protects them from receiving an email whose download button leads nowhere.
Fix
Identify the track. It's named in the alert email, and the order detail's Products list links each item back to your catalog.
Open the track in Catalog→Tracks and re-upload the main audio in the Audio files section of the track editor. Wait for the upload to finish processing.
Delivery completes automatically. As the alert email puts it, "Delivery then completes automatically — no refund or re-order" needed. The order progresses to Fulfilled and the customer receives their delivery email.
Prevent it
- Publish after the audio lands. The track editor's progress ring counts Audio files among the required sections; don't force a publish around it.
- Careful with file replacement. Deleting a track's main audio while the track is live for sale creates exactly this scenario for the next order.
- Watch the dashboard. Pending orders show in a caution banner on your dashboard's recent orders, so a held order never fails silently.

Customer email missing from an order
