Agreements
Every licensed purchase generates a hosted agreement page and a signed PDF. Review them per order, see acceptance timestamps, and backfill agreements for historical orders.
When a buyer purchases a licensed item, Tuneboom generates an executed agreement: the license's contract text with the purchase details filled in, frozen at the moment of sale. Each agreement exists in two forms:
- A hosted page at
https://app.tuneboom.io/agreement/<token>, a clean, shareable web view of the contract. The link contains a long random token, so only someone who holds the link can open it. No login is required. - A PDF at the same address plus
/pdf, which downloads with the item's title as the filename.
Where buyers get their agreements
Buyers don't need to ask you for anything:
- The delivery email links to their downloads and license agreements.
- The Thank you and Order status pages show the Tuneboom Downloads card with a link to the hosted download page, which includes the agreement links. PDFs are generated in the background right after the order is placed, so the card keeps checking for a short while until they're ready. A buyer who lands on the Thank you page a moment after paying still gets their links without refreshing.

Reviewing agreements on an order
Open any order from Orders and scroll to the License agreements section. For each licensed item you see:
- The item title and the agreement's status.
- Accepted at checkout with a timestamp, when the buyer consented through checkout consent. The recorded consent is your proof of acceptance in a dispute.
- View, which opens the hosted agreement page.
- PDF, which downloads the signed PDF.
- A critical badge with an error message if generation failed.
Generating agreements for historical orders
Orders placed before you set up licensing (or orders whose generation failed) show No agreements for this order. Orders placed before licensing was set up can be backfilled. Click Generate to create them.
Backfilling is safe to repeat: existing agreements are reused, never duplicated. The generated documents use each item's license terms, so make sure the license looked the way you intend before backfilling.
Agreements are snapshots
An agreement is frozen at generation time. Editing a license later changes future purchases only. Existing agreements keep the terms the buyer actually agreed to.
Checkout consent
Require buyers to accept license terms before checkout with the Tuneboom app embed's consent modal, backed by a validation check at checkout.
Install the player block
Add the Tuneboom Player app block to your theme, understand how it auto-detects tracks, albums, and sound kits per page, and what the theme editor's sample tracks are.
